Layered Japanese Paper Lamp

Room aesthetic: Wabi-Sabi, Japandi

This Japanese paper lamp stacks three rounded rice paper tiers above a slim metal stand. The shape feels like three lanterns in one and works on the floor or a low cabinet beside the bed in a small room.

Why You'll Love It

• Three stacked tiers. Three rounded sections step down in size. The stacked form stays easy to recognize during the day with the bulb off.
• Room around the base. Slim metal legs leave open space around the base. A low cabinet still has room for books or everyday essentials.
• Floor or low table. Beside a bed, the Japanese lamp can sit directly on the floor. Move it onto a low cabinet when the layout changes.
• Paper around the bulb. The Japanese paper lamp wraps the light source in three ribbed sections. The shade softens the bulb across the full shape.
• More height in a corner. This Japanese rice paper lamp fills an empty corner with three stacked volumes. The height works well beside low furniture.
